Staff and seniors share breakfast

The final asynchronous day on May 21 was special for seniors as the teacher Wellness Committee planned and held a senior breakfast for the Class of 2021. They sub divided the work and had been putting pieces of this plan together now for three months.

Each member of the committee had things they had to do in order for this to happen. Some had to get certain foods, some prepared meals the day of, and some were responsible for decorations. In addition to the breakfast, a parade of senior vehicles from the middle school over to high school was planned to start the day. Teachers from around the district greeted seniors as they entered the bus loop.

Breakfast included pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and even an omelette station. During the breakfast, teachers and administrators went around to talk to students and congratulate them on their graduation. Senior Jadin Smith said, “It was a lot of fun and it was good to see all of the teachers one last time as a student.”
