For decades people have been fascinated with the mysteries of the Yeti and the Loch Ness monster, but my favorite, and the one I think is real is Bigfoot. Bigfoot is also referred to as Sasquatch. Everyone knows who Bigfoot is and there are lots of references to them in the media.

Loads of people like to say that Bigfoot is not real, but I beg to differ. There are so many places in national parks that are protected and people aren’t allowed to enter. Why could that be? Is the government hiding something, like Bigfoot?

I think that people are so interested in Bigfoot because they think there are more creatures out there than we’re fully aware of and want to know more about them. I don’t believe that there is just one Bigfoot. I think there are many Bigfoot families all across the United States, no different from human families. I believe that Bigfoots have and raise children.

Some people may be scared of the presence of Bigfoot. I think Bigfoots are more scared of people than we are of them. They’re probably very skittish creatures and like to be left to themselves.

Back in 2019, I went with a friend to the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Camping Adventure at Benner’s Meadow Run Cabins and Camping in Farmington, PA. During the day there were vendors and guest speakers that taught us many things about Bigfoot. I bought a shirt that I still have and wear today, almost four years later! At night we got to go out into the woods nearby and search for Bigfoot.

They had us in attendance split up into groups and every group had a tour guide, and we were sent off. We were in the woods that night for close to three hours. Many groups had heard noises of the Bigfoots that were there, and one group even swore they saw a footprint. My group was not so lucky.

Believing in Bigfoot is nothing to be ashamed of, everyone has an escape and mine just so happens to be Bigfoot.
