On Saturday, April 26th, Dover Area High School will host a baseball game for breast cancer awareness from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All of the funds from the event will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The NBCF helps promote breast cancer awareness and education, as well as supporting breast cancer patients and survivors.
Both players and attendees can come to show their support for the cause. “The term ‘putting in 110%’ is a good representation of how these players view these kinds of games, ” said sophomore center fielder Aiden Chapman.
The players push themselves harder in support of the NBCF and those it supports. Chapman shared his enthusiasm. “I love the event, playing a sport I love, supporting an amazing cause, and in front of an audience who came to watch a show.” The game will take place at Wellspan Park, home of the York Revolution baseball club.
