This year Trunk or Treat will be held Thursday, October 26 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.. The Trunk or Treating itself will begin at 6 p.m., but there will also be food trucks and pumpkin painting at the same time. Pumpkin painting will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m..
Trunk or Treat advisor Emily Miller says we will continue to do Trunk or Treat because people enjoy it. “Last year’s senior class did this, and everyone loved it so we’re going to keep doing it!” This year it is being organized by the Class of 2026, but most groups in the building are also participating.
Cars will have donation bins for “Best Trunk” and donations will support mini-Thon and other student activities. The “Best Trunk” winner will also receive a prize. Last year’s winner was FFA.
Miller is hoping for an outcome similar to last year. “I think everyone – older students, younger students, and adults – had a great time! I hope that we have a similar outcome this time!” She also hopes that it will be a bigger community event and for more people to participate.
If you wish to participate please see Emily Miller for more information.
