Homecoming court was recently announced. The six boys and six girls on court now await the crowning of the homecoming king and queen at the homecoming football game on Oct. 8.

Senior Jensen Glatfelter was nominated. Glatfelter is involved in track and field as well as marching band. He said, “Winning homecoming king isn’t my top priority. I’m just excited I was nominated since it has been on my bucket list for quite some time.”

Senior Bobby Repp was also nominated for homecoming court. He said, “It’s crazy to think my peers voted me onto homecoming court. I’ve always been a very outgoing person and I love making new friends, so this really makes me happy to know that I’ve made an impact on so many other people’s lives.” Repp participates in track and field, cross country, and many other extra curricular activities for our school. Perhaps it’s no surprise that so many know Repp as a result.

Senior Kylie Snelbaker who was one of the six girls nominated for homecoming court. Snelbaker has been very involved throughout her time in high school, from cheerleading, to basketball, to student council, and more. Snelbaker said, “I think I was nominated because I’m involved in a lot of activities the school participates in.” She was incredibly excited to be nominated for this role alongside some of her closest friends. Snelbaker also hoped that she would grow closer to her other peers on the court and get more people excited for homecoming, while also preparing herself for the game and the dance.

Other nominees include seniors Kurt Robbins, Gemma Galligani, Kiana Horton, Brody Fulton, Lucas Runk, Gary Lang, Hailey Hoppel, Madeline Smyser and Miah Arevalo.
