The Best Time of the Year

Every year, on December 25th, the best holiday is celebrated, and that holiday is Christmas. This is a holiday that is celebrated in well over 160 countries around the world, but it is extremely popular here in the United States. Unlike other holidays that are mostly enjoyed by one specific age group, which is either strictly adults or strictly children, this holiday is enjoyed by all age groups.

At an early age, kids are introduced to “Santa” who plays a huge role in this holiday.  It’s believed that Santa brings us our presents on Christmas. The thrill of Santa, presents, making cookies for Santa,  and the entire experience around him is extremely fun for kids. As for the adults, it’s an exciting time to reconnect and be around friends and family to celebrate.

Religion is also something very special and important to Christmas, mainly because Christmas is about baby Jesus being born. Though many people forget about the origin of this holiday, the significance that Jesus has on this holiday is truly bigger than some think. Of course, there are other holidays within the year that are celebrated, but many people believe that this holiday is simply above the others. The atmosphere, joy, and the season, all pull this holiday together to be the best one.

Something that is always said around this time of year is to have Christmas cheer, and I feel like that’s something that brings the best out of everyone. Christmas is one of those holidays that you just can’t dislike because regardless of how you celebrate, there are many ways that it’s exciting. There are so many different variables to Christmas that make it fun, but over everything,  family bonds and love for everyone is something that makes this holiday like no other.
