Ever heard of Elf Day at school? Blizzard Day? Well, these are some of the spirit days held for Dover’s December to Remember.

To spice things up, Dover is holding a December to remember for 12 days straight to get in the spirit for Christmas break. Science teacher Leslie Forbes is also having a great time participating, “ I truly enjoy doing this event. I enjoy figuring out how to be creative in my outfit and figure out what to wear for each day,”stated Forbes.

So far the school has done ‘Game on, Happy Hanukkah, Reindeer/ Hunter Day, O Holy Night, Jingle Bell Rock, Ugly Sweater Day, Elf Day, and Blizzard Day’.

For the upcoming future there is going to be ‘Hawaiian Christmas, Dover Goes to the North Pole, Mad About Plaid, Santa Gives Back, ‘Twas the Night Before Winter Break.’

Forbes said, “Jingle Bell Rock has far been my favorite day. I am most excited for Hawaiian Christmas. Wait till you see the outfit!’’

Students are excited to participate as well. “During the holidays my family and friends always tell me that I look like Buddy the Elf, so I thought it would be cool to dress up like him,” said junior Joseph Rugh.

The homeroom that has the most students participating will win a prize. “As for the prize for the homeroom with the highest number it should be something quite epic since it involves many days!” said Forbes.
