Serapiglia finishes senior soccer season

Senior Nick Serapiglia has just finished his last season of soccer here at Dover Area High School, and he’s looking forward to what the future holds.

Throughout his fourteen years playing the game – the last four of which were spent with DAHS – Serapiglia feels as though he’s grown a lot both as a player and a person, stating that, “Throughout my time with the team, I’ve been taught to work hard to achieve what I want… I feel like the sport has helped me be the person I am today.”

For as much as he loves the game, however, what Serapiglia will miss most about his time playing for Dover is the team’s community. “The thing that I’ll remember most will be the sense of family – the good times that we have on and off the field.” Of course, soccer isn’t the only thing that he has devoted his attention to during his time here at DAHS.

Apart from all of his athletic endeavors, Serapiglia has also become involved with the school tech team, which has fostered an interest in cyber security. He plans to continue playing sports in college and hopes to find work as a cyber security analyst when he graduates.
